The HEROES Project

What is it All About?

THE H.E.R.O.E.S. MISSION

The HEROES Project aims to change the narrative of gang culture from “violent thugs who don’t care about the community” to Black/Brown kings, fathers, and sons who love and serve their communities.

​

UWSU intends to accomplish this by reunifying the peacemakers on the east side of South Central Los Angeles. 

​

 

UWSU will effectively create a safe place for healing, forgiveness, brotherhood, Black dignity, and progress. This safe space will help end gang wars, stop retaliative activity, and redefine neighborhoods
